Your file never leaves your device. Every tool on this site — converting, merging, repairing, trimming, splitting, time-shifting, and inspecting an activity file, and exporting a phone health archive to CSV — runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload button, no server that receives your file, and no account. If your internet connection drops the instant you drop a file in, every tool still works.

That claim is specifically about your file's contents — its bytes, the route it contains, its filename. It is not a claim that this site makes zero network requests of any kind, which would be false. Two things on this site do talk to the network, and neither of them involves your file:

The route map

When a file you drop has GPS positions, the map preview requests map tiles from OpenFreeMap to draw the background you see behind your route. OpenFreeMap requires no account, no API key, and sets no cookies — but a tile request does reveal the general area your route covers to that tile host, the same way any map on any website works. Three things are true about this: it never happens before your file has actually parsed (a visitor who lands on a page and leaves without dropping a file generates no tile traffic at all), it is not required for a tool to do its job (if the map fails to load, conversion, repair, and every other operation still work normally), and it never includes your file's contents — only the map viewport.

Elevation lookup (opt-in)

An elevation-repair tool, where offered, fills in missing elevation readings by looking them up from a terrain data service. That lookup sends only the coordinate sequence needed to look up elevation for your route — never your file's other contents, never your filename. Using it is always your explicit choice for that one file: it is disclosed in the tool itself before any request is made, it is never on by default, and no other tool on this site ever sends anything to this or any similar service.

What we do not do

• No file upload endpoint exists anywhere in this product.
• No server-side storage of any file, ever, for any reason.
• No analytics or telemetry that carries file contents, filenames, or route coordinates.
• No accounts, no login, no tracking of who used which tool.

If anything on this page stops being true of how the site actually works, that is a bug in this page, not an acceptable gap — please tell us.
